Manby and Spring 2023 Rides Meeting

Cycling UK Louth Wednesday Wander to Manby and 'Spring' Rides Meeting 22nd February 2023:

Bands of rain affecting Lincolnshire early in the morning finally decided to head off into the North Sea by 9 am and so all was set for a short ride to Mimi's Mission before convening our Rides meeting. With a top temperature of 9 Degrees Celsius we were back to near average for late February.

A straightforward ride through Stewton and the Carltons for Tim Newbery, Paul Linder and John Ambler. John was looking forward to a large bacon bun. Glad that John's appetite is undiminished.

We had planned to return by 12.15 pm and were actually a few minutes ahead of schedule. Reg Bagshaw and Chris and Ying Owen arrived soon after and we were able to discuss and plan our events for the months of March, April and May. A good mix with some new venues. Long rides, short rides, some hilly some flat. Hopefully something for everyone. A draft listing will be published soon. Watch this space!
