Cycling UK Louth

​​We are a friendly and mixed group of cyclists from the Louth area, also encompassing much of East Lincolnshire.

We organise regular weekly rides plus occasional weekends away. 

We also meet socially (off the bikes!) to plan our rides, hold occasional 'social events' such as a BBQ and to enjoy an annual dinner.

Unless otherwise stated, rides will start from the Louth Meridian Leisure Centre in Wood Lane (LN11 8SA). 

Additionally, rides can easily be joined or left at either our coffee or lunch stops.

Winter rides, unless otherwise stated will start at 10.00 am and Summer Rides at 09.30 am.

Each year we organise a few car-assisted rides from other starting points such as the Humber Bridge so make sure you check our RIDES LIST,

social media (FACEBOOK / TWITTER) or use our contact facilities before setting off.

If you just want a pleasant ride in good company or have an interest in campaigning for improved facilities for cyclists COME AND JOIN US. You will be made most welcome. All of our activities are Covid-19 compliant.

If you are not a Cycling UK Member and wish to join us on one of our organised rides, you'll need to fill out a 'Guest Registration' form which will be available on the day.

ADVICE FOR NEW RIDERS

If you are new to cycling or are returning after a break, Cycling UK has some great advice:

It is advised to study the suggested route and make a judgement as to whether you are fit and healthy enough to participate in this activity. Your cycle should be in a safe, legal and rideable condition.

You’ll need some tyre levers, puncture repair kit/spare inner tube and (mini)-pump. We think it’s handy to have some emergency cash and a card too.
