Ride from the Reading Room to Offham Farm Shop café

On Sunday 9th March, we're meeting for coffee at 10:00 am at the Reading Room, Black Rock, Madeira Drive, Brighton BN2 1FY. It's a fairly new café towards the eastern end of the seafront. We're leaving promptly at 10:30 am to ride to the Offham Farm Shop café on the A275 at Offham, near Lewes, East Sussex BN7 3QE for lunch. If you prefer, bring a packed lunch and find a spot nearby. The route will include part of the Egrets Way from Newhaven, so be prepared for bridleway conditions, however a road bike, hybrid or touring bike should be adequate.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and enough to drink, sunscreen/waterproofs/warm clothing and lights as appropriate. Please check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure about its suitability. Please be prepared to give contact phone numbers at the start of a ride.
