Ride to the Foresters Arms in Fairwarp
Event description
On Sunday 14th July we are meeting at Stanmer Park gates and will be ready to leave at 10.15. Our destination is the Foresters Arms at Fairwarp in the Ashdown Forest where we can have lunch. There is also a village green opposite the pub with picnic tables for anyone who prefers to bring their own lunch. This will be approximately a 60 mile round trip from Brighton.
If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and enough to drink, sunscreen/waterproofs/warm clothing as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. See link below. Please be prepared to give contact numbers at the start of a ride.
