Ride to Alfriston in East Sussex

On Sunday 19 June, we'll be leaving at 10.00 from from the Proper Cycling and Coffee café in Hassocks, so get there early if you would like to have a coffee first!

We'll be riding to to Alfriston Village green in East Sussex. Bring a picnic or buy something to eat from the local shop. The ride is approximately 60 miles from Brighton and back.

If you plan to come on any of our rides, please make sure your cycle is in a roadworthy condition. Bring a puncture repair kit, spare inner tube (or as appropriate for tubeless tyres), essential tools, a mobile phone if you have one, snacks and water, sunscreen/waterproofs as appropriate. Please follow Cycling UK's Covid guidance, and check with the ride leader about the distance and hilliness of the ride if you are unsure. Be prepared to give a contact phone number at the start of a ride.
