Adult Cycle Confidence Classes

Welcome to Teams Wheelers, we're all about miles and smiles!

Join our qualified ride leaders for a gentle introduction to cycling, perfect if you want to learn to ride to learn a bike or just get a refresher to increase your confidence. We'll be practicing on a closed car park to start with then when you feel capable we'll try a short loop on a quiet street, the class will last 2 hours hours including a break for a cuppa.

What we can provide you:

• Use of our club bikes, helmets, gloves, and jackets free of charge
• A safe introduction to cycling to suit all abilities including total beginners
• The chance to progress and join short beginner bike rides in the area

What you need to bring with you:

• Comfortable clothing - nothing too baggy, but no need for spandex!
• Sports shoes or trainers
• Emergency contact details

The class starts at 10am at the Big Local Bungalow on Derwentwater Road, Teams, Gateshead NE8 2HQ. If you're arriving by car you can park in the Teams Club car park next door. If you have any questions about these sessions or anything else please get in touch via email at hello@blgateshead.org.uk
