Phil Hall
Phil joined Cycling UK in April 2020 to lead our corporate service functions and has overseen a successful programme of improvement to our corporate services at a significant time of growth for the organisation.
Phil’s career began in the Civil Service, where over the course of 15 years he undertook a variety of corporate, strategic and finance roles across several Government departments in Whitehall.
After his time in central government where he also qualified as a CPFA accountant, he joined the not-for-profit sector, taking on wider corporate service roles in medium-sized charities including vInspired and YoungMinds. Here, Phil realised his passion for leading and delivering transformation and change and has led significant programmes of business process redesign and organisational change to support improved organisational effectiveness.
As an experienced director and COO, Phil has brought these qualities to Cycling UK and over the last three years has helped drive forward significant developments in our infrastructure, systems, processes, ways of working and governance which have been instrumental in enabling the charity to grow and deliver against its ambitious plans.
A keen sports enthusiast, Phil lists football (a long-suffering Derby County season ticket holder), skiing, golf and the NFL as his keenest interests, but family cycling is always high on the list of weekend activities and daily school runs.
