Taking its name from 'Summertime Reversed', the Emitremmus Challenge Ride marks the last day of British Summertime and is the final ride in Cycling UK's Challenge Ride Series.

From Stevenage to Buntingford, Hare Street, Clavering, Saffron Walden, Great Chishill, Therfield, Weston and back to Stevenage, this ride passes through some of the prettiest scenery in the East of England. Vernacular architecture, quaint villages, rolling pastures and lovely pubs are all featured, with nothing too scary in the way of hills so suitable for regular and experienced cyclists alike. The route crosses from Hertfordshire to Essex and back again, with a short sortie into Cambridgeshire too.
