Christchurch Bicycle Club (CBC) is primarily a social cycling club. Revived in 2004 from early roots. Original founders wanted to build a club which revolved around friendship and a common love of cycling. read more
Whether you like a gentle ride to a New Forest cafe every Saturday, for a good old chat with a variety of friendly cyclists, or wish for something a little more challenging, CBC can offer you the fellowship of others with a similar interest. We have rides which cater for all abilities and ensure new cyclists feel supported and encouraged. More experienced riders will find their own challenges with a host of experienced members.

Information about the group rides
We have lead rides all year round for a variety of abilities and fitness.
Before joining any club ride make sure you have read and understood “Advice for All Rides” (On the right hand panel) – particularly “CBC Ride Etiquette”.

CBC offer a variety of rides for a variety of abilities. We always welcome new members and if you are new to cycling we are happy to advise on the best rides to come on and how to get started. Contact our rides co-ordinator (link to email) for advice.
Just starting out?
Saturday Mornings are very sociable and friendly. Have a look at the page for start times and also our Club Ambassadors who will be happy to meet you at the start and show you the way.
All our rides either split into a variety of abilities or go at the pace of the slowest rider so no one will be left behind. Coffee stops are an essential part of all trips and Tuesdays and Thursdays will generally take most of the day.
Thursdays have two rides one being at a slightly faster pace for those who are more experienced.
We have other social rides and seasonal options as well as the popular mountain Biking group also on a Saturday.
