East Midlands Airport Transport Forum

Ray Clay attended the East Midlands Airport Transport Forum meeting, held on 22nd April 2021.

Ray reported that Jenny Romero (Nottingham City Council) gave a very interesting presentation on the 'Transforming Cities Fund' (TCF) Cycling Project, announced as part of the March 2020 government announcement for the successful Tranche 2 bid. The project includes two spurs - Clifton to EMA and Derby to EMA. The TCF Cycling Project is currently in optioneering phase and will enter a public consultation phase in mid-Summer 2021 with construction expected Spring/Summer 2022. Perhaps we can persuade Jenny to attend the next CTC East Midlands Region Committee Meeting and give us a short presentation.
