Our Sunday rides start from a range of locations around Exeter.

Axminster - SY 296 985 - Map

We meet in Axminster in the small car park on West Street (A 358) between the Church and the River Cottage Shop.

Bernaville Nursery - SX 905 961 - Map

Bernaville Nursery is located at Cowley, just outside of Exeter on the A377 (Exeter-Crediton) Road.

We meet outside the Nursery on the roadside. Please note there is no public car parking in the vicinity.

Broadclyst Church - SX 982 972 - Map

The village of Broadclyst is 10 km north-east of the centre of Exeter on the B3181 (Exeter-Cullompton) Road.

The start in Broadclyst is outside St John the Baptist's Church which is on the western side of the B3181.

Budleigh Salterton - SY 070 819 - Map

We meet at the war memorial at the top of South Parade. From the centre of Budleigh town centre ride east along the sea front then up the small hill (South Parade) the war memorial can be found at the top overlooking the sea.

Charmouth - SY 365 934 - Map

Charmouth is just off the A35 45 km east of Exeter. Turn off the A 35 for Charmouth at a roundabout 

and continue into the main street (called The Street).  

In the centre of town take a right turn down Lower Sea Lane (immediately before reaching a Pelican Crossing).

After a further 150 m a car park and toilets are on the right.

Chudleigh - SX 868 795 - Map

Chudleigh is 15 km south west of Exeter just off the A38. We meet in the centre by the War Memorial in front of the shops.

Clyst Honiton - SX 988 936 - Map

We meet opposite the Duke of York on the former A30 at the northwest end of the village.

Clyst St George - SX 983 887 - Map

Clyst St George is 2 km east of Topsham. The meeting place is in the centre of the village. Approaching from Topsham turn left at the roundabout by the George and Dragon pub and then turn right onto the B 3179 at the next roundabout (towards Woodbury). After 100 metres turn left into the village.

Copplestone Railway Station - SS 767 031 - Map

Copplestone is 8 km west of Crediton on the A 377. The railway station is just north of the village.

Cowley Bridge - SX 909 953 - Map

Cowley Bridge is 3 km north of the Centre of Exeter at the junction of the A377 (Exeter-Crediton) and A396 (Exeter-Tiverton) Roads.

There is no parking alongside the Bridge but parking is available on estate roads and in a lay-by south of the Bridge.

Crediton Railway Station - SX 840 995 - Map

Crediton Railway Station is about 1 km south east of the centre of the town just off the A 377. 

Approaching from Exeter the turn for the Station is on the left hand side of the road just after the Shell Garage. 

There is limited parking at the Station itself (i.e. on the north side of the line). 

However there is a large free public car park on the southern side of the line.

Cullompton - ST 022 067 - Map

We meet in Meadow Lane, outside the Sports Centre.

Dunkeswell Airfield - ST 137 079 - Map

Dunkeswell is 8 km north of Honiton. The airfield is on the western side of the village and we meet outside the Air Centre Bar and Restaurant.

Exeter Airport - SY 002 933 - Map

Exeter Airport is 8 km east of the centre of Exeter - on the B3184 just north of the A30 (Exeter-Honiton) Road.

We meet at the turn-off from the B3184 into the Airport Terminal.

There is no car parking at this junction but on Sundays cars can be parked in the Business Park 500 m further east.

Exeter Quay - SX 921 921 - Map

Sunday rides either start from outside Saddles and Paddles on Exeter Quay or the Piazza Terracina - on the other side of the river.

Exminster - SX 945 876 - Map

Exminster is 4 km south of the centre of Exeter just off the A379 (Exeter-Dawlish) Road.

We meet at the village car park.

Honiton Road, Park and Ride - SX 963 927 - Map

Exeter's Honiton Road Park and Ride is just west of M5 Junction 29.

Honiton, Lace Walk Car Park - ST 160 007 - Map

From the High Street the car park is 100 metres down Dowell Street (A373 Honiton-Cullompton Road) on the right. 

The Lace Walk Car Park is free on Sundays.

Illminster, Market House - ST 361 145  - Map

Rides start from the stone Market House at the junction of North St, Silver Street and East Street (TA19 0DL). 

There is a pay-and-display car park in West Street and free parking on the housing estates west of the town centre.

Ide - SX 901 906 - Map

The village of Ide is 3 km south-west of the centre of Exeter just south of the B3212 (Exeter-Moretonhampstead) Road and alongside the main A30.

We meet at the War Memorial at the bottom end of the village. There is a limited amount of on-street parking and a small car park at the top end of the village.

Kentisbeare Parish Hall - ST 069 080 - Map

The village of Kentisbeare is 5 km east of Cullompton. 

The village Hall is just south of the centre of the village. From the centre outside the Wyndham Arms head up the hill (High Street) and bear right. The Hall can be found after 200 m on the right.

Killerton - SS 976 000 - Map

This start is in the main car park for Killerton House - near the toilets.

Kingsbridge - SX 734 438 - Map

The start is in the Cattle Market long stay car park. This is in the Ropewalk above the 

Sports and Leisure Centre. If by mistake you find yourself in the long stay car park alongside the Quay

you can cycle up Tumbly Hill (''very steep'') to find the Cattle Market car park at the top.

Kingskerswell - SX 881 676 - Map

This start is in Fore Street on top of the bridge over the A380 - near the toilets.

Ottery St Mary - SY 095 955 - Map

This start is in the Canaan Way car park.

Piazza Terracina, Exeter - SX 920 919 - Map

Piazza Terracina is on the west bank of the Exe in the centre of Exeter. It is bounded by the canal basin, the cycle path alongside the River Exe, and Haven Road.

Raymond's Hill - SY 318 962 - Map

Raymond's Hill is on the A35 about 3 km south east of Axminster. We meet in the car park of the Hunter's Lodge Inn which sits alongside the junction of the B3165 with the A35.

Redhayes Bridge - SX 958 935 - Map

Redhayes Bridge is the blue cycle bridge over the M5, just north of Junction 29. There is no car parking near the bridge, but parking is possible in Pinhoe and Sowton nearby.-- >

Sampford Peverell - ST 032 143 - Map

Sampford Peverell is 20 km north of Exeter and about 2 km west of Junction 27 of the M5. 

We meet at the village car park in the centre of the village adjacent to the tennis courts and public toilets.

South Brent - SX 698 602 - Map

We meet at the free car park alongside the old railway station buildings in Station Approach which is off Station Road.

Talaton - SY 068 995 - Map

Talaton is 5 km north west of Ottery St Mary.  We meet alongside the village shop which is opposite the Talaton Inn pub.

Tipton St John - SY 090 918 - Map

Tipton St John is 3 km south of Ottery St Mary.

We meet at the free car park alongside the river.

Topsham - SX 966 884 - Map

Topsham is sited 7 km south-east of the centre of Exeter.

We meet outside the Railway Station. There is public parking 300 m south-east of the Station off Holman Way.

Whimple Station - SY 046 974 - Map

Whimple is sited 15 km east-north-east of Exeter.

We meet outside the Railway Station. There are a small number of parking spaces at the Station and a village car park 400 m away.

Widecombe in the Moor - SX 719 768 - Map

Widecombe is 30 km south west of Exeter in the middle of Dartmoor. We meet in the small National Park Car Park which is 100 m east of the centre of the village on the B3387

Woodbury Car Park - SY 011 871 - Map

Woodbury Car Park is situated in Flower Street. From the crossroads in the centre of the village head north east towards Woodbury Salterton. Flower Street can be found on the right after 500 m.

There are public toilets available.
