Civilised Cycling in Casual Attire (Chester UK)

We are a Facebook based cycling group, ideal for people who may be new to cycling or returning to a bicycle (or tricycle), or are just looking for the opportunity to meet / chat with likeminded people whilst enjoying a leisurely bimble around our gorgeous city & surrounding areas.

There are many excellent groups that accommodate for people striving for their best strava stats or organise circa 40+ mile rideouts but if like us, you prefer the more sedate side of cycling and admiring the scenery whilst on a leisurely pootle or running errands, then this may be the ideal group for you!

We have a regular ride, every Monday morning, setting off from outside Bren Bikes, Chester at 10am. Ride routes and distances vary but details are posted on the facebook page prior to the ride so that you know the route and distance covered. These rides can vary between 10 and 25 miles but also include a cafe stop, generally at the halfway mark.

We also organise leisurely rides at weekends and the occasional days out to other areas, taking bikes by train. There are no joining fees, just join the facebrook group (Civilised Cycling in Casual Attire (Chester UK) and come along for a ride!
