Burwell Cycle Club

An informal association of like minded riders. Our rides:

1) Leisure / Social - 20-30 miles all riders. Sundays at 09:00 during British summer time, at 10:00 in winter. Meet outside The Anchor pub.

2) Family, Kids, Community - 5-10 gentle miles, as notified.

3) Road - 25 + miles - quicker rides 18:30 Wed evenings, while daylight allows

4) MTB - occasional, for those interested

It is a closed group, so you will need a Facebook account and then to join the group to see our events and discussions. We ask people joining the group a few simple questions about their cycling interests and experience. Please do join if you think that you might ride with us.

NB Administrators / Coordinators / Moderators / Group leaders of rides arranged via this group are not responsible for any injury, damage or risk sustained as a result of you taking part in a ride. Group members arranging rides in this group do so entirely at their own risk and are entirely responsible for their own safety at all times. Whilst it is strongly recommended that you take out some form of 3rd party insurance should you become injured or injure someone as a result of an accident whilst on your bike, riders should at all times ride within their own capabilities and ride responsibly within the rules of the road ( please request basic details, if required ). Admin / Coordinators / Moderators /Group leaders will endeavour to carry basic first aid and cycle repair essentials, but this does not negate any member / rider carrying their own. Any first aid / repair offered is solely at the discretion of Admin / Coordinator / Moderator / Group leader and is entirely at members risk, without obligation or consequence of any nature whatsoever.
