Tayport to Monifieth Ride

This is an easy-paced sociable ride on dedicated cycle paths (some shared with pedestrians) and quiet roads. There are hardly any hills. You can join at any one of three places: Tayport Harbour (opposite the Harbour Café) at 11.00; The Tay Road South Access car park at 11.30; or in front of the V & A in Dundee at 11.45. We will ride along National Cycle Route 1 through Dundee Port and Broughty Ferry to Monifieth. There will be a refreshment stop, probably at the Bay Diner, or you can bring food with you. Please bring water to drink and make sure your bike is in roadworthy condition. We aim to be back in Tayport by 3.30. The terrain is all paved, so any kind of bike is suitable.
