Stevenage Off Road Challenge 2021
Event description
Off-Road Challenge (50/65 Kilometres)
Date: Sunday 15th. August 2021 Start time: 10:00 am outside the Cycling Hub in Fairlands Valley Park
Time allowed: 3.5 to 6.5 hours
Price: FREE
The 2021 event is informal, without Brevet Cards or manned controls (except the start/finish). A mobile phone photo may be used, if desired, to show reaching an information control or turning point. The supply of route sheets and maps at the start will be STRICTLY LIMITED, so please print the information you think you will need in advance.

Route Sheets & Maps
You can download and print the route information. If you are relying on GPX then you will need a note the information on relevant the Control sheet..
The routes for 2021 are the same as those created and tested in 2019 and used in 2020, with amendments avoiding Cole Green Way which is closed for maintenance. The closure notice is available to download. There is also a diversion at the New River pumping station on the River Lea towpath.
Detailed maps with the route overlaid are available. The maps are intended to be used together with the Route Sheets. The maps includes km markers and small green flags that correspond to cues in the Route Sheets.
