Car to Gravel Ride, Sunday April 3rd

Start time 10:30am, from Hertford Heath

Drive with bike to Hertford Heath; free on-street parking at SG13 7RS, by Holy Trinity Church and village green.

25 miles, +1,100ft climbing. A mixture of byways, fire trails, lanes and cyclepaths; 50% unpaved.

The route is ideal for gravel bikes or mountain bikes, it's mostly mud free.

Hertford Heath to Wormley Wood, through Lee Country Park past White Water Centre, with refreshment stop at McDonalds (Waltham Abbey). Returning through Lee Country Park to Rye House, then quiet streets to Haileybury and Hertford Heath.

Approximately 2.5 hours riding time, plus lunch break.

Maximum 8 total riders.
