Fancy reducing your impact on Barrow-in-Furness? Or maybe you want to do a bit of exercise before going to the game? Or simply you just want to meet some fellow fans, chat about the footy as you cycle through the gentle Furness countryside?

We are running a park-and-cycle, you are welcome to park your car at South Lake Safari Zoo, and join professional ride leaders on a a journey through Furness. Taking quiet roads and safer streets, we will arrive at Holker Street ready for the match. You will then be led back up to South Lakes Sarafi Zoo to collect cars after the game. Both Barrow and Carlisle fans are invited on the ride, and even those of you who do not support either.

We will meet at 12.30 at South Lakes Safari Zoo, leaving at 13.00 and arriving at Holker Street around 14.00. After the game we will meet back up and cycle back, we aim to return to South Lake Safari Zoo by 18.00. Full terms and conditions will be sent round to participants once they have signed up.

You are welcome to bring your cycle with you, or if you let us know we can provide a rented bike for the journey. All are welcome, however any under 18's will need to be accompanied by an adult and complete a short cycle skills test prior to the event.

Pedal to the Pitch is an organisation that encourage fans to walk, wheel and cycle to football matches. We want to reduce football fans impact on local communities around stadia, improve air quality at football games and minimise footballs impact on the planet. We run led rides and walks, campaign for sustainable practice and bring together fans with similar ideas.
