Family Adventure Ride

7 miles gentle off road ride suitable for all abilities of cyclists that are confident on their bikes and can use gears. The ride aims to build capacities within families to Get Outside on their bikes safely and confidently.

During the instructor led ride there will be the opportunity to be involved in number of  basic first aid scenarios which aim to provide practical and fun experiences of coping with “terrible accidents “ that may happen while family cycling.   There we will also be chance to learn about bike checks and basic navigation while following an basic cycling route .

Suitable for children over 7. You need a road worthy bike, helmet, suitable clothing for the weather and pack lunch in a personal rucksack
