Chipping Sodbury Festival Gravel Ride

A self-supported 40-mile gravel ride aimed at off-road riders who want more of a challenge, including a café stop mid-way.

About this event

This is a big departure from the guided cycles rides we usually enjoy at Chipping Sodbury Festival. In addition to the 30-mile road ride, this year we have planned an unsupported 40-mile gravel ride for you to enjoy alone or with a small group of friends.

The ride sets off from Chipping Sodbury Clock Tower next to the Tourist Information Centre and follows a scenic route through the quiet lanes, farm tracks, byways and bridle paths.

The route is challenging in places and is designed for mountain, gravel or CX bikes at least 32mm off-road tyres. This should not be attempted on a road bike.
