Bike Week: Boscombe Pier to Hengistbury Head Sunset Ride

A gentle social ride from Boscombe Pier to Hengistbury Head to celebrate the start of Bike Week (8-16 June 2019).

Additional rides for Bike Week may be added nearer the time. This ride is largely traffic free and is low speed, so no one gets left behind! There are lovely views of Bournemouth Beach and Christchurch Harbour during the ride. We stop for 10-15 minutes at Hengistbury Head to enjoy the view and then return to Boscombe Pier. Please note. You ride at your own risk and are responsible for your own actions. Pedestrians have priority on traffic free sections and there is a maximum speed in these areas of 10 mph. There may be some sand on the path on parts of the route. The ride will not take place if there are strong winds and/or heavy rain.
