Event description

WEDNESDAY WANDER - MIDWEEK BREAK TO BEVERLEY
Meet up at Louth's Meridian Leisure Centre at 09.30 am for a 'Wednesday Wander' to Beverley.
The suggested outbound route takes us across the Lincolnshire Wolds via Wold Newton and Hatcliffe. A stop for a refreshment break (bring your own) is possible here but there's also 'Chums Café at Ulceby at 30 miles into the ride. We'll then continue to the Humber Bridge where lunch is an option at a variety of cafés to include Humber Bridge Garden Centre, Viking Way Café Bar and The Ropewalk Café (all within a few hundred metres of each other). Finally a crossing of the iconic suspension bridge where we'll follow Sustrans NCN to Beverley.
NOTE: IF the green lane via Creyke Beck Substation is unsuitable, a road alternative is available.
MEDIUM RIDE. Route distance 53 miles.
