Around the Lakes... a bike ride

Around the Lakes... a bike ride for vital research into brain tumours.

On 13th and 14th June 2020, the Best family and friends will be raising vital funds for The Brain Tumour Charity, the UK’s leading charity dedicated to fighting this devastating disease, by cycling around the lake district national park peninsula.



Camille Best and Steph Mason, from Kendal, Cumbria were inspired to organise this event after both families were devastated by brain tumours. We will be riding in particular for Camille's mother, Becky who sadly passed away in October 2019, and Steph's father in law (to be) who is currently fighting a brain tumour.



We are a group of mixed ability riders, our aim is to ride together and complete the distance whilst raising as much money as we can for the charity. This is not a race, timing is not important, although we hope to complete the route in two days.



We invite you to join us: cycle and stay with us for the weekend (approx 175 miles), cycle with us for a day (110 mile/65 mile), home straight (15 mile) or provide support along the way.
