April ride - Dunkeld Lochs

This ride was a favourite last year -so is being repeated at special request! Meet at the North Car Park in Dunkeld. (There is a charge for parking charge for the car park but on street parking is free if you can find a spot.) 9:30 for a 9:45am start. The ride goes via Murthly, Meikleour, Loch Clunie and Loch of the Lowes. 24 miles in total and 524 metres of ascent. So some hills but we stop at the top of each one to regroup, have a drink and a jelly baby! So certainly not a race.Lovely scenery to enjoy along the way.Road bikes a must for this route, or hybrid with smoothish and well pumped up tyres. Also make sure you have plenty of water and some snacks to keep you going on the way round (did I mention Jelly Babies?). Plenty of cafes and hostelries to lunch in at the end.
