50 in 4

This reliability event has been run annually  by the Teesside CTC (Hard Riders section)  since 1967.  It involves nearly 2800 ft of climbing and going over the North York Moors in winter. 4 hrs are allowed ie average speed of 12.5 mph  So it will only appeal to experienced riders.   It is not a race or sportive and no times taken to do the ride will be published as a list although we are happy to tell individual riders what time they finish the event. The event starts in Middlesbrough (Marton  Shops) and finishes at Brompton N Yorks which is approximately 19 miles from the start.  So if planning to return to the start  or travel onwards please bring a full set of lights.
