Lucy Harris
National road racer & women's racing equality advocate
Lucy got into cycling at university. After joining her local club, the Cowley Road Condors, she was persuaded to try racing. In less than a year, Lucy had her elite license and started racing at a UCI continental level. In 2024, Lucy finished second in the National Road series and won a combativity award in the Tour of Britain. Lucy is passionate about women’s equality in sports and encouraging more women to cycle in any capacity, regardless of circumstances.
Lucy suffers from hearing loss, and her success on the race circuit has been inspiring to the deaf community, showing that you can race at an elite level even with hearing difficulties.
