Founder of Porty Active Travel Hub and bike fest organiser
Hazel was described as a “community champion powerhouse” – and no wonder. She trialled a bike library and then oversaw its growth to an active travel hub with e-cargo bikes, e-bikes, BMXs for kids classes, training bikes and a folding bike. The hub runs led rides, training sessions, a community fridge and more. She organised two bike festivals to bring the cycling community together, helps out with Bikeability and is looking to set up a bike bus.
