Emma has spent years working with vulnerable people in the community, now working as a mechanics instructor for Bristol-based charity Life Cycle’s Bikes Beyond Bars project, helping inmates of HMP Bristol train as cycle mechanics while refurbishing donated bikes. A brilliant role model creating a respectful learning environment while demonstrating bike mechanics doesn’t need to be a male-dominated space.
