Championing BMX Freestyle for the next generation
Diane's BMX Freestyle journey began 11 years ago at Nottingham's Terminal 1, where her fascination with the sport sparked a mission to support riders and grow the scene. Now, as British Cycling's BMX Freestyle Project Manager, she’s redefining the sport's grassroots with innovative events, sustainable clubs, and opportunities for riders of all ages. From organising events for 700+ participants to establishing 7 thriving skatepark clubs with 250+ members, Diane is steering the future of BMX Freestyle in the UK.
“My journey in BMX Freestyle began nearly 11 years ago when I was invited to Nottingham's Terminal 1 to sponsor ramps for Coyote Sports. After seeing the sport, I became hooked and built a team to support product development and organise events.”
