Charlotte is the president of the charity Charlotte’s Tandems, which lends tandems and tag-alongs to anyone with a disability or additional need, who are unable to ride a bike safely on their own, so they too can enjoy the wonders of cycling wherever, whenever and with whomever they like. The charity has tandems all over the UK.

Charlotte has severe learning difficulties and is autistic and non-verbal, however she loves to be active and cycling helps her do this. She rides on a tandem with her parents around the Cotswold escarpment, and enjoys riding fast down steep slopes.
