Transforming abandoned spaces and lives through fundraising
Caroline Taylor was nominated for co-organising a fundraiser to transform an unused football field into a pump track. Over two years, the team raised £60,000 through events and grants. Designed by former BMX champion Kye Forte, the track opened last November and has been a huge success, attracting users of all ages and rave reviews from visitors traveling over 30 miles to use it.
