Beth has made cycling a central part of her life, using it as transport, for fun and as a way to give back to the community.
Based in Manchester, she volunteers with Lady Pedal, a women-led cycling collective celebrating and supporting women and non-binary individuals through events and activities.
Over the years, Beth has championed underrepresented groups in cycling, supporting projects for Muslim women, the LGBTQ+ community and young people.
Beth’s dedication shines through her regular ride leadership, including beginner mountain biking opportunities for women and girls with Nacro Outdoor Learning. Her behind-the-scenes work – applying for funding, creating social media content and planning events – ensures these initiatives thrive. Described as selfless and patient, Beth’s efforts have helped keep Lady Pedal alive during challenging times and enabled Nacro in Wythenshawe to flourish.
