Discovering a shared passion for cycling, Sian founded beatbike with her neighbour Victoria in the spring of 2012.
With an aim to inspire new cyclists discover the thrill and health benefits of cycling, beatbike has inspired many new riders from complete beginners who have never been on a road bike to those training for sportives and triathlons.
Sian said: "Cycling is quite unique in that it is for all shapes, sizes and fitness levels; adaptable to the individual whatever their starting point.
"Indeed, beatbike skills sessions are designed to make women feel safe, relaxed and efficient on their bikes... ‘at one with their bikes’ .....so that they can enjoy and make the most of every second they are on the bike. Their outdoor rides and spin classes are designed to create a cycling community that is an empowering, friendly, inclusive and a positive environment for all concerned."
