Shelley Lawson

Shelley is the co-founder of Frog Bikes with her husband Jerry. Frog Bikes is a British company dedicated to making cycling fun for children through the manufacturer of lightweight bicycles. A scientific approach has resulted in bikes that are light but strong and easier to pedal. Frog Bikes are now all manufactured in South Wales, lowering environmental footprint and boosting the local economy.

Shelley’s favourite aspect of her job is “seeing children enjoy their cycling more as a result of having a well-designed lightweight bike! We hear from so many families around the world who are delighted that they can enjoy cycling more as a family when the youngest members are happier on their bikes.”

Cycling UK’s 100 Women in Cycling is an annual list celebrating inspirational women who are encouraging others to take part in this wonderful and life-enhancing activity.
