Promote your group with Cycling UK
How to promote your ride or event with Cycling UK
For ideas on how to use social media such as Twitter and Facebook, to email reminders, to getting listed in our UK events and rides guide and in Cycle magazine or our weekly e-newsletter CycleClips, our useful guide will tell you everything you need to know to get publicity for your ride or event.
By joining Cycling UK, you can even claim your very own publicity page for your group on our own website and reach our 100,000 monthly unique visitors!
Posters
Below you will find an editable PDF poster you can download and customise with your group’s details. This could be displayed in local bike shops, coffee shops or on community notice boards to let everyone know about any events or rides you’ve got planned.
The poster contains an editable box at the bottom in which you can insert your own wording and then print off on your own printer or locally in colour. Just save the poster first, then edit to suit your group by clicking in the box and typing in your wording. It is A3 size, but can be printed at A3 or A4.
Paid-for advertising
As a charity, Cycling UK is unfortunately not able to promote non-Cycling UK events or rides for free. However, we can help you to reach our 68,000-plus members and supporters with reasonably priced adverts in Cycle magazine. Contact James Pembroke Media (JPM) for more details and a media pack, or phone 0203 859 7099.
Alternatively, please contact our communications team to request a notice in our weekly CycleClips e-newsletter. The communications team reserves the right to refuse requests.
