About us
St Albans Cycle Campaign is a CyclingUK affiliated group, campaigning for better cycling conditions in St Albans City and District since 1998. Notable successes include cycle routes across Verulamium Park and more cycle stands at St Albans City station than any other station in the UK (until Cambridge overtook us!). The catchment map is indicative, we cover St Albans City and District administrative area obviously, and we co-operate with neighbouring campaign groups WelHat Cycling, SPOKES (SW Herts) and Luton & Dunstable Cycle Forum, as well as being a part of CycleHerts, the coalition of cycling organisations covering all of the county. We work with walkers and equestrians to campaign on local access issues. We also meet regularly with District and County Council engineers and councillors.
Members receive a monthly(ish) email with local campaigning news. If you live or work in St Albans District why not join us, the membership form can be downloaded from this page.
