Fleet Cycling

Fleet Cycling is the Cycling UK group in Fleet which seeks to:

• Promote cycling in the Fleet area
• Publicise not only Cycling UK rides but rides of any group in the town that wants to use our website or link to it

Whether you are commuting to the station, to work or to school then feel free to contact Fleet Cycling and let us know how you would like to see cycling groups and infrastructure develop in the town. We are a friendly and social group and welcome anyone who would like to cycle with us.

We have an active rides programme and there are rides year-round on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. All our rides start at Hart Leisure Centre, Emerald Avenue, Fleet, GU51 5EE unless it is an "away day" when the start location will be specified. Please see our website for much more information about our rides, and for a calendar of upcoming rides. Through the website you can subscribe to our newsletter whether or not you are in our area.

On the first Sunday of each month we welcome new, prospective or returning members. We ride two 20-mile loops out from Fleet with start/finish and coffee stop both at our usual Hart Leisure Centre start point. The first, easier, flatter ride is designed to ease you into group riding at our normal 12.5 mph. The second part, entirely optional, will take in a different 20 mile loop, also ending at Hart Leisure Centre. We won’t leave anyone behind, so come and give us a try.

All of our rides are social and we always try to stop for coffee, cakes and a chat. We never leave anyone behind.
