Finally some sun in 2025

For our first ride in March the sun finally appeared, although the air temperature still was below zero first thing. As Bedmond Lane was both icy and flooded under the motorway bridge, the route was altered to use Sergehill Lane instead. Roger lead us through the southern parts of St Albans before edging past Hatfield and through Welham Green to arrive at the garden centre promptly for 11am. It was busy but we were served our drinks quickly.

Afterwards we looped down to Brookmans Park, before heading north, then east towards Letty Green, skirting WGC and arrived at the Harpsfield Hall in Hatfield just at the right time.  Seven people started the ride, and as Gary went home after coffee six of us enjoyed the value-for-money lunches in Hatfield. Well done Roger for planning and leading us on the best day of the year so far weatherwise!
