Watch again: Active Travel Hustings - Wales
Event description
Senedd Cymru Election: Our vision of a cycling nation
Living Streets and Cycling UK’s Active Travel hustings, chaired by BBC journalist Mark Hutchings, gave you the opportunity to quiz candidates about their party’s vision for cycling and walking in Wales.
We have seen, over the last year in particular, the crucial role that walking and cycling can play in people’s lives and we know that for many people in Wales prioritising active travel is a key issue.
Wherever you live in Wales, you can let candidates know what matters to you and what you want the next Welsh Government to do to create a nation where walking and cycling are part of the solution to many of the challenges we face.

Cycling UK Cymru’s vision is for a Wales where more everyday journeys involve active travel, our countryside is more accessible, the air is cleaner, and our health and wellbeing are prioritised.
Living Streets Cymru is part of the UK charity for everyday walking. We want to create a nation where walking is the natural choice for everyday, local journeys; free from congested roads and pollution, reducing the risk of preventable illnesses and social isolation.
