Sunday 1st June -Train +ride, Greenwich/Woolwich/ Thames Path areas, 25 miles

Meet at Stevenage railway stn in time to buy an off-peak return ticket from Stevenage to London Bridge and catch the 9:06 train, 43mins, no changes.

This 25 mile is to start outside London Bridge rail station at 9:55, will be mud free, 95%paved, +616ft climbing and is ideal for mountain, gravel and touring bikes. 

The route uses cycle paths, the Thames Path, quiet residential streets, cycle super highways and passes through: Shad Thames, Stave Hill Viewpoint, Russia Dock Woodland, Greenland Dock, Greenwich, Thames Path to Woolwich, Woolwich Ferry (free), Royal Docks, new Silvertown Tunnel (free cycle bus), Maze Hill, Greenwich Observatory, Depford, London Bridge.  

Approximately 3.5 to 4 hrs riding time plus mid ride refreshments time at the Well Bean Co Cafe near the Royal Albert Dock.
