Sunday 16th February- Lakeside to Rainham Marshes, drive and ride 25 miles

Cars to leave the Bowling Green in Stevenage Old town at 9:30 am. Drive is usually just under 1 Hr.

Park in Ikea car park at Lakeside (Heron Way, Grays RM20 3WJ).

The ride will start at 10:30 from the Ikea car park.

The route will pass through Mardyke, Brickklin wood and Cely Wood on the way to Ingrebourne Hill Viewpoint, Rainham Marshes bird reserve, Purfleet, the Thames Path to Grays and back to Thurrock.

The ride is 25 miles, 75% paved and suitable for touring, gravel or mountain bikes. The trails are unlikely to be very muddy.

Refreshments in the Ikea cafe after the ride.
