Peterborough Green Wheel CANCELLED
Event description
There appears to be little appetite for the ride on Sunday. Having checked the Peterborough radar again it appears the heavy rain will continue through the morning. More importantly the wind will freshen as the day goes on making the long fenland stretches scheduled for the afternoon very uncomfortable.
I am, very regrettably CANCELLING this years Green Wheel ride. Sorry.
Steve
Update on Green Wheel.
I have been watching the forecast all week. There will very heavy rain Saturday and over night into Sunday morning. It should have cleared by 10.00 am. I have therefore rerouted the ride to avoid off road sections which will make it slightly shorter and bit less interesting.
Steve
