Pedal to Paddy to Plant Trees

Join our first “pedal to” event of the year and help the Paddy Action Group to plant trees in their community woodland.

We will be leaving from the Martin Park Carpark in Kirriemuir (opposite the BP garage) and heading along to Padanaram, on Monday 11th of April at 9:15am.

Tools will be provided for planting and free refreshments and a WC will be available!

Your ability to complete the cycle route is at your own discretion. For confident road cyclists; take care on downhill sections and when crossing main roads.

The outward route will be 6.4 miles; from Martin Park Car Park, cross road and cycle on A926. After passing through Westmuir, turn left downhill past Auchendorie Farm and on to Bogside Road. Turn left. Cross Kirrie – Glamis Road and proceed past sawmill. At T junction turn left and keep straight past Ballindarg. At main Kirrie Road, turn right and Paddy Hall will be on your right hand side.

The return trip will be 4 miles; turn left from Padanaram and turn left at old school. Over the bridge and then turn right. Follow this minor road taking care on bends and looking out for gravel patches on road. Turn left in Maryton to return to Kirrie.
