Pace-judging and freewheeling competition
Event description
Pace-Judging: Complete two laps of the circuit in opposite directions. The person with the smallest time difference between the two laps wins. Computers/watches to be removed or covered up.
Freewheeling: Freewheel down the hill, furthest distance up the other side wins. This is a straightforward roll – no wheel waggling. Use of Tri bars or aero helmets not allowed. If impeded by other traffic a rerun is permitted.
Overall winner: Places from two parts added – lowest combination wins overall. In the event of two or more competitors achieving the same number of points overall, the cyclist’s position in the freewheel contest will be used to decide the winner.
