Founder's Run

2022 is our Centenary year as the Fife District Association was inaugurated in 1922.  Our Founder William Browne lived in Burntisland and for many years and a Founder's Run was held in his honour.  Now seems the time to honour William Browne once again 100 years after the Club inauguration.

A 34.5 mile route has been prepared on quiet roads and we are intending to have a led run with a starting and ending point of Burntisland and stopping for lunch at Lochore Meadows.  A gpx file has been made available as will paper maps if needed.  All riders are welcome, although we do ask you to let us know in advance to ensure we have sufficient leaders.  All bikes are welcome, including ebikes and if you prefer you can ride only part of the route, as long as you notify us in advance.  I will keep this page updated and would also suggest that you keep an eye on our Facebook page for any updates.
