A group of four Audax events - 2 classic favourites & 2 new events for 2025

C&NW CTC Over the Marshy Berwyns (Gravel)

200km cycling event starting from Duddon. Controls at Chirk, Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, Corwen, Coedpoeth, Duddon  plus 1 information control

 A crossing of the incredible Pontcysyllte Aqueduct followed by a crossing of the Berwyn Mountains using the bridleway to the legendary Wayfarer Memorial. Intended for riders with off-road riding experience and a suitable machine
Days don't get more epic than this. 100 miles in May with a few off-road sections makes for a serious undertaking.  

This is a new event. Riders must read and understand  information and warnings about the events published on the AUK site with regard to fords, suitable bikes, terrain, gradients & equipment required. 

Event starts at 7.30 to be finished by 20.42   £9.50

C&NW CTC Tour of the Berwyns Audax

210km cycling event starting from Duddon Village Hall, near Tarporley. Controls at Panorama Layby, Corwen, Llanrhaeadr and Chirk and Duddon VIllage Hall plus 3 information controls.

 Beautiful Cheshire lanes and majestic Welsh hills. A continuously interesting classic 200k route. Village Hall start & finish. Easy free parking if needed and free brew at start.

Event starts at 8.00 finish by 21.52     £9.00

133km cycling event starting from Duddon Village Hall, near Tarporley. Controls at Panorama Layby, Chirk and Duddon Village Hall plus 2 information controls.
 Beautiful Cheshire lanes and Welsh foothills. A scenic route with just one significant climb. Village hall start & finish. Easy free parking if needed and free brew at start.

Event starts at 8.30 to finish by 19.08  £9.00

C&NW CTC Cheshire Lanes Populaire

57Km cycling event starting from Duddon, near Tarporley.  Controls at Tilston, Duddon plus 2 information controls

A new event for 2025. Aimed at riders who don't want to ride the longer events on offer on the same day. This event is an ideal introduction to audax riding if you're wanting to dip a toe and learn all about controls and brevet cards 

Events starts at 9.30  to finish by 15.12  £6.00
