Big Family Picnic and Bike Ride!

Led Ride with Ride Leaders, Family Bike Ride event. 

Please call or email to book on this ride as we have limited spaces and equipment! We will also need time to prepare the right bike and equipment before you arrive.

We will meet near the Manchester Bike Hire Shop at the square outside the Deli-Lama Cafe.

Arrive at 9.30am for a 10.30am departure, after getting bikes ready.

We will have a selection of bikes with and without bike seats and trailers available for use. You can bring your own bike and family cycling equipment, but please make sure it is safe to use - bring it to a Dr Bike session before if your not sure! We have balance bikes for kids to use in the park but you can bring your own too.

We will ride on the road approx 1 mile, in a bus and cycle lane, before going into Peel Park and doing a loop or two around the Meadow and Park. This is an ideal time to gain confidence to do this in a safe well-managed ride. Once in the park, children that wish to balance bike the route can do so. We will have a picnic near the play area. Please bring your own food.

We will head back to the shop at between 2.30 and 3.00pm.

People can make their own way back to the shop early if they want, and return equipment at the shop.
