20th October- 24 miles, Woods and Parks ride

24 miles, +1,145ft climbing, 60%unpaved.

A mixture of cycle paths, bridleways and quiet lanes.

This route is suitable for mountain bikes only, with knobbly tyres.  There will be mud!

The route includes Ashtree Wood, Chells Park, Box wood, Walkern, Bassus Green, Hebbing Green, Watton at Stone, Datchworth Green, Mardley Heath, Whormley wood.

Refreshment stop either Datchworth Coffee or Costello's Cafe.

Helmets are strongly recommended for all off-road rides.
