15th December- Olympic Park Royal Docks (train + off road ride 26 miles)

Meet at Stevenage train station ticket office in plenty of time to buy an off-peak return ticket to Finsbury Park.

Catch the 10:06a.m.  train to Finsbury Park. 19minute journey time.

26 miles, +970ft climbing, 90% paved. A mixture of cyclepaths, quiet residential streets,bridleways and towpaths.

This route is ideal for mountain, gravel and touring bikes. There will be no mud. 

Ride through Leyton and Hackney Marshes to the Olympic Park, Greenway, Royal docks, Bow Creek, River Lee, Clissold Park.

Get train back from Finsbury Park to Stevenage.

Expect approximately 3 to 3.5hours moving time plus refreshments time. Refreshments options are at View Tube Cafe and Trinity Buoy Wharf.
