Creator of a bike donation scheme for asylum seekers
Jaz Morse got hooked on downhill mountain biking a few years ago and has been encouraging more women into the sport ever since.
After getting involved with the charity Care4Calais she set up a bike scheme and works to source suitable bikes, carrying out repairs before giving them out to local asylum seekers.
Jaz’s dedication to providing the opportunity to cycle helps refugees explore their location, interact with new people, and feel part of their local community.
"To date we have given out in excess of 200 bikes… The bikes are an absolute lifeline."
