Steph Duits
With a childhood spent cycling, Steph Duits knows how lucky she is to now have a job that involves riding bikes.
Which is probably why she spends so much of her time smiling as she shows visitors to the mountain biking holiday company she runs with her partner Tom Hutton the best routes round Snowdonia.
Steph is also a level three mountain bike leader and a great cyclist in her own right – she often covers more than 12,000 kilometres on her road and mountain bikes each year.
Steph said: “My mum and dad got me hooked on cycling when I was three. We lived near the New Forest and all our best family adventures were by bike.
I'm happiest when I'm on my bike.

“Now it’s my turn to show other great cycling routes. I love taking our clients into mountains and wild places and inspiring them to ride.
“I love cycling because it makes me feel free. I'm happiest when I'm on my bike.”
Steph was nominated for 100 Women in Cycling by her partner Tom, who said: “Steph is a smile on a bike. She’s a constant source of inspiration to all she comes into contact with.
“When she's riding for herself, she's fast and fit and always trying to be better. But when she's guiding, or looking after clients on the mtb holidays she helps run, she's always smiling, patient and incredibly encouraging.
“I’m sure anybody that has ever ridden with her would second this nomination. She is a true champion of all things two-wheeled.”
